In an horrific throwback to 2002-era Michael Jackson, a woman in Fujian province was filmed dangling her son over a balcony to punish him.

An internet user uploaded the video showing a terrified child being forced over the edge of a balcony and held by his mother over the seven-storey drop.

"I saw her standing in front of a boy, about five years old, yelling at him while hitting him with a towel," the anonymous poster wrote. The woman then dangled the boy over the edge of the balcony while holding onto his leg, "if she had let go, he would most likely have fallen off the seventh floor."
