This guy really likes thighs. And we’re not talking about fried chicken.

Xu, a married 40-year-old interior decorator, was detained for allegedly collecting photos and videos of women’s bare thighs from around the city. He’s got photos of other female parts too.

He was caught last week at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station by a police officer who said he had a camera in his hand and was acting nervous. Xu then failed to provide his ID card and refused to show the officer his video footage.

The authorities found Xu to be carrying ‘140 gigabytes’ of photos and videos of women’s thighs in his video camera and mobile phone. They were said to be a week’s worth of footage that were captured at metro stations and exhibitions.

He was fined RMB200 and seven days detention for invasion of privacy, and had his camera and phone confiscated.

Xu allegedly admitted to becoming obsessed with women’s thighs after seeing amateur snaps on the internet.
