Say goodbye to pinning recipes and wedding dresses, as Pinterest has been added to the list of websites blocked by The Great Firewall of China.

A quick check of the site on GreatFire.org reveals the block is relatively recent; the site appears to have been inaccessible since March 8.
It's unknown why Pinterest is on the blacklist, but it might have something to do with the ongoing Two Sessions — an annual period rather notorious for really slow Internet.

Pinterest joins Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Wikipedia, Snapchat and Tumblr (just to name a few) in Chinese censorship purgatory. There don't seem to be many Western sites left that can be accessed without a VPN.
