The list of China's 2016 Happiest Cities has just been released, and you might be surprised at which one topped the list.

Lhasa, the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region landed at number one. Major cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen failed to make the Top Ten. (Sorry, guys).

The survey, conducted by CCTV, polled more than 100,000 families and looked at factors such as family, marriage/emotional life, health, social security, income, environment and education.
