Paul Smith's designer shop in LA, Sketch Gallery in London, La Muralla Roja in Spain, Haymarket by Scandic hotel in Stockholm and Donald Trump’s complexion – what do they all have in common? Exactly: they're pink – a color that tantalizes, provokes, lifts spirits and gets the adrenaline going.
Inspired partly by 'Pink Yarrow,' a new color introduced in Pantone's Fashion Color Report Spring 2017, and the American president's rosy complexion, a company in Guangzhou recently unveiled a flushed territory of its own: Pinkstar Art Space.
A brand-new and private art space opening this February, Pinkstar, located near Longdong Metro Station on Line 6, serves as a photography studio, art gallery and fashion show venue. Its pink walls, stairs, wire meshes, posters and washrooms are readily designed to give your Instagram a rosy hue.
Curious? We thought so. That's why we're sharing a first glimpse into Pinkstar Art Space:
If you do choose to check this place out, capture as much pink as you can in one shot, tag #thatsprd on Instagram and we'll regram you.
