A Sichuan man was arrested after stealing a bus and driving it down a highway at excessive speeds to save Vin Diesel from prison because he saw it in a movie.

According to People's Daily, the man had been watching Fast Five (Fast & Furious 5: Rio Heist) on September 4 and decided to reenact a scene in which a main character drives a stolen bus at top speed.

This is what happens when you ban games consoles. Instead of taking to Need For Speed or GTA to reenact what he saw on TV, the wannabe Paul Walker hijacked a real bus and took it on a real joyride, smashing through a tollgate onto a highway and leading police on a high-speed chase through traffic before eventually hitting a divider and flipping the bus.
