Plane Forced to Return to Beijing Due to Onboard Brawl

We’re assuming everyone who has flown in and out of Beijing has experienced some sort of annoying plane delay. Whether it’s from heavy pollution or unexplained flight cancellations, plane delays are common in Beijing.

But having your plane rerouted because two dudes decided to get into an epic brawl on your flight… that would be downright infuriating.

Well, last week this very thing did happen to one group of passengers. Air China flight CA1361, which departed from Beijing to Haikou at 5.30am, was forced to return to the capital after two unruly male passengers got into a particularly vicious physical fight.

The dynamic duo started bickering shortly after takeoff, but it soon escalated into a full-on physical altercation. The captain made the decision to turn the plane around about an hour into the flight over concerns about the safety of the cabin crew and passengers.

Jeez, it makes us wonder what these two were actually fighting about…

While the cause for the brawl remains unknown, passengers have said that one of the men involved in the altercation appeared to be bloodied and injured.

The two men were detained by police upon arrival. The flight departed for the second time at 10.25am, arriving at Haikou at 1.38pm. All in all, it was about a three-hour delay

Based on new regulations, the mens’ behavior will cause them to be blacklisted, which means they will be suspended from flying for up to two years.
