Fishing boats sail on the seaweed farm Xiaohao village Sansha Township.

Between the months of April and June, the villagers set out on boats to catch fish and harvest seaweed. Once collected, they hang the seaweed up on sheets of bamboo to dry.

Tourists can collect seaweed and enjoy boat rides in Xiapu. Some say it is the most charming fishing village in all of China — making it an attractive China bucketlist destination for travelers.
