If today’s cold weather has got you hunkered down inside with a good book and a cup of tea, don’t make plans to leave anytime soon – as the temperature is expected to remain low all week.

At publication time, Guangzhou was a cool 11 degrees Celsius, which, coupled with 21-kilometer an hour winds and 82 percent humidity, felt more like 8 degrees, according to The Weather Channel

Oh yeah, and to top it all off, it’s also raining.

Shenzhen faired a little better today: there it was 13 degrees Celsius with 29-kilometer per hour winds and 86 percent humidity, although the temperature there ‘felt’ marginally warmer at 11 degrees Celsuis.

The rest of the week looks only slightly better for both cities, with Guangzhou looking at lows of between 11-14 degrees between now and next Sunday and highs of 18-22 degrees Celsius (fingers crossed we get more of the highs than the lows).

Shenzhen is looking at virtually the same situation:

While we can all rest assured snow isn’t in the forecast, there is no doubt that sweater weather is here – at least for the next week anyway.
