If you thought that Chinese capitalism wasn’t competitive enough, think again.
Indeed, on a quiet small town street in Xingtang county, Hebei, two construction firms fought over a client’s contract the good old-fashioned way: duking it out on a dusty road... with their bulldozers.
This epic battle was caught on video, and upon been uploaded to the web promptly went viral.
The footage shows two bulldozers, each firm’s chosen champion for the duel (we assume), wrestling each other with their shovels and driving into one another. Midway through the video, the bulldozer furthest from the camera-wielder rams the other one from the side and overturns it. Moments later, three other bulldozers emerge from off-screen, one receiving the fleeing pilot of the defeated vehicle while using its shovel to lift the fallen one, the second driving right on top of the victor of round one and the third disappearing into the background.
Reportedly, the skirmish was only halted when the police intervened. The video ends before then, but we hear that the final tally involved two overturned vehicles and several people injured.
No arrests have been reported yet.
