So many "China podcasts" are just that – about Chinese history, politics or other, similarly wonky subjects. Not that there's anything wrong with that (we love us some history) but, sometimes, we yearn for the lighter side of China – and now, Kung Fu Komedy has delivered. This week, the Kung Fu Komedy goes live at the China International Comedy Festival featuring guest judges Dashan, Amelia Chappelow and Keith Lowell Jensen.
As part of the 2016 China International Comedy Festival we recorded this week’s podcast in front of a live audience at the comedy club. We brought the three judges from the standup competition on, being Dashan (大山), ABC radio producer Amelia Chappelow and US pro comic Keith Lowell Jensen, and talked about the festival and how Dashan likes to make fun of himself on TV.
Every
week, Andy Curtain tracks down the most interesting person he can find
and asks them what they're doing in China. To subscribe, add the Stuck in the Middle podcast on iTunes, or copy this link to use in your favorite podcatcher app.
