While most people think of kimchi when they hear about Korean food, Chinese tourists have come to see fried chicken and beer as a staple meal in South Korea, thanks to the popularity of the hit Korean television drama, "My Love From The Star." (Apparently Ludacris isn't the only fan of the delicious combination).

With that in mind, Chinese cosmetics firm Aolan International Beauty Group recently flew out 4,500 of its employees for a company vacation to South Korea, treating the team to a 'traditional' meal of fried chicken and beer. The employees sat around 750 tables in the South Korean city of Incheon, which is located about 50 kilometers west of Seoul.

The Mayor of Incheon stated that the city was perfectly happy to provide the feast.

Restaurants have recently opened across China featuring 'Korean fried chicken'. Perhaps the popularity of KFC in China could be attributed to the fact that some are thinking that the K stands for 'Korea.'

The number of Chinese tourists in Korea has soared this year, with 8 million tourists expected to visit South Korea by the end of 2016. K-Pop and Korean dramas also have massive followings in China, and it is expected that these numbers will only continue to rise.
