Man Falls Down Elevator Shaft After Kicking Doors Open

Yet another elevator-kicking video has gone viral on Chinese social media. 

In the surveillance footage, recorded at midnight on March 24, a man is shown waiting for the elevator with a woman who appears to be his girlfriend. After pressing the elevator button, he loses his patience and starts to kick at the door while the woman tries to pull him away. Seconds later, a waiter comes to keep an eye on the situation. But the man continues to lose his cool and again charges towards the elevator door. As he kicks open the door and attempts to step in, he falls down the elevator shaft and disappears from view. His female accomplice can be seen crying out after the incident.

According to news reports, the man survived the fall but many details were still unclear.

Just last month, similar video of a drunk Hangzhou man falling into an elevator shaft at a KTV went viral online.
