Clad in a similar tuxedo, dress and flower garnishes, the couple commemorated this noteworthy romantic achievement with some truly adorable photographs. Separated by World War II, the two maintained contact by writing poems and letters to each other while apart, reported CNN. Yuehua immediately proposed to Devi after they were reunited when the war ended in 1945. "My parents are 98 this year. Nowadays, they can barely remember many things in their life, but they can recite the love poems they wrote to each other during the wartime," Cao Pengpei, one of the couple’s four children, told CNN.
