Yesterday, a 118-meter, 26-story building in Xi’an – the tallest building ever demolished in China – was brought down by 1.4 tons of explosives. It took just 13 seconds.
Clearing the rubble will take a little longer, however – about 70 days. No word on how long it will take for the air to clear.
