Yesterday afternoon, a chubby, shirtless man was spotted in Chongqing attempting to sell himself to a willing "wealthy woman" for the low, low price of five million RMB

The man, claiming to be a PhD researcher from Beijing's elite Tsinghua University, says that he wants to continue his studies abroad but is from a poor family and doesn't have the cash.

Positioning himself on Yangjiaping pedestrian street in the city's Jiulongpo District, the man reportedly got a lot of interest of passers-by and even a string of beautiful young women who apparently left their mobile and QQ numbers.

With a price like RMB500 million, the destitute doctor has priced out a lot of potential buyers. However, he refuses to negotiate when it come to price: "I won't accept one kuai less than 500,000,000," he says "because I'm worth it."

"After a few years I will return [to China] and certainly render services to the motherland," we're assured by the potentially delusional gentleman.

Good luck getting the help you need, sir - whichever kind of help that actually is...
