Calling all runners (especially those in training for the upcoming Beijng marathon): Adidas has launched a new weekly running club right out of their flagship store in Sanlitun (at one point the largest in the world, in fact).

From August 7 to December 25, the store will be the assembly point for the weekly night runs. adidas has also released its new 2014 fall product, the Energy Boost 2 ESM, which promises runners with endless energy returns through its revolutionary BOOST™ technology. (So no more excuses about hitting "the wall'' at mile 20 of the marathon.)

The adiCLUB SLT running activation is organized by adiCLUB and hopes to prepare runners for upcoming marathons in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai. They told us:

These weekly events will encourage passionate and enthusiastic runners to join in and try out the latest adidas running product collections, ensuring a comprehensive running experience both online and offline. For the online experience, we're now partnering with the most popular sports and fitness app in China, Codoon to launch an online platform known as “Boost your run”. Consumers can follow the “Find Fun Activity” section and participate in activities.

Follow them online and participate in the 'Boost your Run' for a chance to win a trip to the Boston Marathon in 2015.

We lined up with almost a hundred runners last week to take part in one of the run, a 5km loop around the Workers' Stadium, of the kind that can be joined throughout the rest of the year. Visit www.adidas.com/running or adidas running's Weibo for more information.
