The world's single most important sporting event... or simply a collection of overpaid superstars on holiday in Brazil – however you view it, the World Cup is here, and it's all you're going to be talking about for the next month.

We've compiled a Beijing-specific guide for watching it out here. The best bars, times of all the games, facts and trivia, who the players to watch out for are and who the people of Beijing think will win. It might very well be the best World Cup guide we've ever produced. Click here to view a copy (sample pages below.)

If you think you know who's going to win, enter our competition to correctly predict the winners and you could win some top prizes. You'll need to get your hands on a paper copy for that – look out for one in all best bars in Beijing (and some of the worst ones too).
