In case you haven’t looked outside already, snowfall has hit Beijing. As well as creating great photo opportunities, this also means that commuters will have to take extra care when they’re out and about on the roads.

Between now, press time and tomorrow, February 10, 2pm, a yellow warning for ice on the roads is in place, as announced by the Beijing Meteorological Service.

Within this time, temperatures are expected to reach lows of -4 degrees Celsius in the early hours of the morning.

Take care on the roads, and in the meantime, enjoy the snaps below of Beijing under a white blanket.
