New On the Menu is a regular feature that lists new menus and openings from top bars and restaurants.

Warmer weather has already arrived in the capital. What better time to head out with family and friends. Afternoon tea, Silk Road-inspired cocktails, spring-inspired dishes and more are all new on the menu in Beijing in April.


BEI Zhaolong, a JdV by Hyatt Hotel

The Prosecco Lounge will be available every Friday on the outdoor terrace at BEI Zhaolong. Snack on finger food including tuna and avocado with bread, Parma ham and rocket salad with bread, risotto ball with sweet chili sauce, fresh sliced fruit and more. Free-flow sparkling wine is available. 

Every Friday from Fri April 9 onwards, RMB198 per person (free-flow available for two hours), BEI Zhaolong, a JdV by Hyatt Hotel.

Be sure to head to Chapter restaurant where chef Claudio and his team use seasonal spring ingredients with a Mediterranean twist. The new a la carte spring menu will take you on a spring-inspired culinary journey you’ll never forget.

Made in China restaurant is offering a delightful array of spring treats! Dishes include spring-inspired Chicken soup with ham and fresh bamboo; wok-fried pork liver with spring chives; baked Sayram lake fish cooked with garlic, leeks and served with sturgeon caviar amongst many more.

This sea-themed culinary adventure brings you savory dishes such as fresh prawns, crab roe, clams and more. The pastry chefs have also prepared a selection of sea-themed sweet treats. And of course no afternoon would be complete without delicious scones!

While enjoying this exclusive afternoon tea, guests will get a limited-edition scented candle co-branded by Waldorf Astoria Beijing and LLADRÓ.
