CNY Signature Dishes @ New World Beijing Hotel
For this coming Chinese New Year, the kitchen of New World Beijing Hotel’s signature Chinese restaurant, 8 Qi Nian, is offering a month of creative dishes with traditional significance to convey their best wishes for the Year of the Pig. The restaurant’s Chef Yuen has combined age-old Chinese recipes with modern preparations and the freshest seasonal ingredients to create new signature dishes such as the traditional CNY favorite Waang Coi Zau Sau, made with braised pigs trotter with lotus root and deep-fried chicken with fermented bean curd sauce, one of the chef's secret recipes. As always, no CNY celebration is complete without dumplings, which are another highlight on the 8 Qi Nian menu.

Usher in the New Year with an extravagant feast and celebration at Cang Yue. For China's most important occasion, the outstanding Chinese restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing hotel is offering you the choice between three different set dinner meals. Each one contains some of the restaurant signature dishes, from both the Northern and the Southern culinary traditions, prepared with authentic ingredients. Try their eel roll with egg yolk, or their signature soups and, of course, their special jiaozi platter.

Feb 1-11: Holiday Hongbao @ Jing-A
The staff at Jing-A is taking a little break during this Chinese New Year, and they deserve it! Don't worry though, the beloved brewpub will remain open during the CNY week, just with adjusted hours. For devotees who'll be hanging out at Jing-A during this Chinese New Year, the brewery has a special surprise. For every bill exceeding RMB150, they'll hand out holiday hongbaos for deals such as a buy-one-get-one for all beers, cocktails, burgers and more. To celebrate the Year of the Pig, Jing-A is also introducing two new additions to their selection of drafts: The Lucky 8 Lager made with citrusy pomelo and the Cherry Ye, a small-batch sour ale.

CNY Reunion Dinner & Staycation @ The Opposite House
This Spring Festival, The Opposite House is not holding back on celebrating. Feb 2: Dumpling Making Party
Dumplings, or jiaozi, are the quintessential Chinese New Year delicacy and are traditionally prepared together with all the members of one's family. If you want to learn more about this tradition, spend CNY like a local, or, well, just make a bunch of new friends that also happen to be in town during the holidays, join The Hutong team at their 4th annual Chinese New Year Dumpling Party.
