Mifan or Mafan: Do

By Valerie Osipov, January 7, 2019

The city is overflowing with crazy dessert trends and Do apparently didn’t get the memo. Located in Topwin Center, the shop specializes in loaded cronuts – croissant meets donut – served with a mountain of artificially colored toppings, hard frozen ice cream and sparkles (our blueberry variation was RMB39). Seriously, there’s actual glitter on these things. The decadent disasters look like they belong in a 5-year-old’s plastic tea set. Also, the loud wall of neon signs proclaiming “I Love You,” “Missing You” and “F*ck Off” is giving us major mixed signals. Let’s just say, Do should do less.
