The expat sanctuary for all things dairy, baked goods and booze, Jenny Lou's, just opened a new location in Liangmaqiao called Jenny Lou’s Green. Aside from the typical shelves full of glorious imported goods from basic necessities to gourmet splurges, the upgraded store appears to have a more carefully curated inventory of natural, healthy products and even contains a cafe, called Caffe Luigi.

Botany

After a good, quiet run in an apartment room in Yoolee Plaza, esteemed cocktail bar Botany has made big moves recently, reopening in its first proper location. Well, not that big of a move – it's still in Yoolee Plaza, just on the ground level now. Tucked next to In & Out, a popular Yunnan restaurant, the lounge vibes are a bit more playful this time around, but Botany does stay true to form with their unconventional menu, which features their eccentric signature cocktails.

Haidilao (Zhongjun World City)

Haidilao, the famous hotpot chain which went public in September, opened Beijing’s first AI-powered restaurant, realized in partnership with Japanese giant Panasonic and complete with giant screens, robo-waiters and intelligent hot plates.

The Cut

Located in Taikooli North, The Cut sits on the third floor of the lifestyle hub amongst high-end shopping ateliers from Givenchy to Thom Brown. Having reopened back in mid-August after their previous location closed, the steakhouse is helmed by the Shanghai-based family of fine dining restaurants that brought you Bar Rouge (well, not you – unless you’re in Shanghai).
