Mifan or Mafan: Angel Burger Chaoyang

Angel Burger just opened its second location in Chaoyang Park. Located next to Pizza Saporita, this new space evokes an atmosphere familiar to any New Yorker: Checkered wax paper? Check. Red vintage-style diner booths? Check. And, really, if you take a small leap of imagination – OK, maybe a big one – isn't Chaoyang Park basically our very own Central Park? The burgers are tasty and reasonably priced (their signature Angel Cheeseburger comes in at RMB43), while the classic sides – fries, nachos, onion rings and more – come in hearty portions, but unfortunately, so does the salt.
