Currently residing in both New York and Beijing, his latest exhibition ‘Acquiring Identity’ will delve into his own position as an artist and as a prominent figure in Beijing’s cultural community. The exhibition also speaks to both his own experience of living in a tiny Beijing apartment in the 80s, as well as moving to New York and appreciating the city’s cafe culture.
