This Map Shows Just How Hot it is in China Right Now

Shanghai isn't the only city suffering from a crazy heatwave this week — much of Eastern China is also currently experiencing scorching hot temperatures.

According to the Washington Post, a big chunk of China is currently trapped in a "Heat Dome," which can best be described as a "large ridge of high pressure." Don't believe us? Just check out this map:
