Victoria's Secret Opens Two Stores in Beijing

This might not be exciting news for everyone, but Beijing is now home to not one, but two Victoria’s Secret stores. Beijing's first-ever outlets have officially opened their doors in Joy City Chaoyang and Joy City Xidan.

But don’t get too excited ladies.

If you’re planning to rush out to buy some of those super popular (and super expensive) Victoria’s Secret bras and panties we all love so much, you might be disappointed. It appears that the new shops are going to focus more on beauty products and accessories rather than the brand’s signature bras, underwear and clothing, Global Times reports.

Victoria’s Secret has reportedly shied away from flaunting their sexy undergarments at their newly-opened Chinese stores in an effort to appeal to the cultural and social sensibilities of Chinese consumers. It's no secret that the brand has high hopes that the Chinese market will be an extremely profitable one for them.

But hey, bras or no bras, who doesn’t love giving and receiving gifts of fruity-smelling lotions, perfumes and body sprays? Us girls here at That’s Beijing certainly do.
