Mifan/Mafan is our feature where we review restaurants in 100 words or less. This time, new sandwich spot Tuk Tuk.
Fangjia Hutong newbie Tuk Tuk is a hole-in-the-wall type joint – there is literally a window you can place takeaway orders from if you’re on the go – selling quality, meaty (or vegetarian) sandwiches ranging from the classic BLT (RMB40) to the more adventurous beef and blue cheese (RMB55).
We sampled the simple yet filling chicken and feta toasted ciabatta (RMB45), which was served with a side of Tuk Tuk’s delicious homemade coleslaw.
Brewed Yunnan coffee at RMB15 is an added bonus while delivery will soon be available – via tuk-tuk, of course.
