Red Gate Gallery, China’s first private gallery of contemporary Chinese art, celebrates its 30th year in 2021. To launch this year, we take this opportunity to introduce the 24 year old Liu Jinpeng A.K.A Kalman Pool and his new exhibition Mutation from the 10th of April to 9th of May. Pool will exhibit his trademark inflatable mutants and a series of paintings created in response to them during his recent Shanghai SWATCH Residency.
