Baturu Cultural Festival (formerly known as China Women's Film Festival) is returning to Beijing for the 7th time with a selection of international films exploring issues women encounter around the world."Baturu" is a word for bravery, warrior hailing from Manchurian language.
Some themes of focus this year include: dismantling the patriarchy on a global scale, mental health, LGBTQ+, sexual violence (including #MeToo), and abortion.

Registration for the events held at the embassies (Embassy of Estonia, Embassy of the Netherlands and Beijing American Centre) is mandatory and passport will be required to enter the premises.
