Shining Dimensions is a new event series curated by Guiguisuisui and Aotu Space that aims to create an intersection between different dimensions of creativity: live music, visuals, and movement all mixing together whilst removing the barrier between performers and the audience. Taking place every Friday evening at Aotu Space, Shining Dimensions features a constantly shifting line up of musicians, illustrators, and dancers organized around a different theme each week with an aim to give audiences a unique experience every time.
The third edition of Shining Dimensions will take place on Friday June 7, featuring the music of Guiguisuisui鬼鬼祟祟 and ADDJ, the Tagtool visuals of Nan Guazi南瓜子 and live painting of Dong Ge, and the dancing of Emily Wong 黄睿明. Meanwhile the theme of the evening will be “everybody paints” where the audience will be invited to take up paint brushes and join in filling a canvas with visual stories.
