Lineup: TWINK & Band, Birdstricking, XiaoWang, and Mystery Act

John TWINK Alder is a bonefied legend of the 1960's UK Psychedelic music scene, best known for his work with Tomorrow, Pretty Things& Pink Fairies. He released Think Pink III in 2018, and has been touring 'An Evening With Twink' to rapturous reception worldwide. Jan.5th 2019 TWINK will be in DDC for Think Pink 50th anniversary, Backing this legend will be long time collaborator Barnaby Bennett, Paul Napier (guitarist for Shanghai cowpunk band The Flood), Fabian (former member of Shanghai post punk band Battle Cattle and The Fever Machine), and Chachy member of punk rock bastard sons of Shanghai, Round Eye, who will also be supporting Twink in select venues such as DDC, don't miss this one.

Twink was the drummer and co founder of the hard rocking psychedelic metal heads The Pink Fairies, psychedelic garage pioneers The Pretty Things, punk pioneers The Rings and a very close friend and collaborator of space rock monsters Hawkwind (of which Lemmy Kilmeister of Moterhead played bass for a time). In fact, at one time both bands joined heads and formed a short-lived rock giant called Pink Wind.  The list of rock gods and mythic psychedelic warlocks he has called friend is as long and magical  as a beard of stars. Syd Barret, Pink Floyd, Van Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, and T Rex are but a few of the planets in this man's orbit and this January, players of teh Chinese indie underground will join him on his starship on a 10 day trek across the ancient Orient.
