If you are still wondering why we started with our regular Jazz Sunday Series over three years ago, here is your answer.So, even before we were hosting Jazz concerts and related events, and there was a huge demand for it in Beijing and from our regular customers as well. Modernista always had professional and personal connections to the Jazz scene and one led to another smoothly.Also, we were thinking for some time how to make a week wrap up more special since we have different events daily (Tuesday Drink and Draw, Swing Balboa Wednesday, special gigs on Thursday), Fridays and Saturdays were since the beginning super crazy, packed and hectic, and since our regular Salsa Monday started we got even one more day of crazy parties, we needed something more relaxed music and atmosphere wise, but still very, very exquisite.Thats how the Sunday Jazz Series started, and actually this November we are also celebrating 3rd anniversary of that regular event. First one we had three years ago.
