Initially I went just for a check-up at Beijing Aier Eye Clinic, but I was so impressed with the technology advancement (now they have a laser procedure better than Lasik) that I decided to do the laser surgery on the first visit. I went the next week and met with the wonderful doctor Zhou Jihong, who speaks excellent English. Even though I can speak pretty good Chinese, when it comes to medical procedures and medical terms, I prefer to speak English and fully understand what’s going on. So doctor Zhou spoke to me in English during the procedure. I’ve heard she does over 300 eye laser procedures a month. Yes, I saw a lot of patients there, in the 5-level clinic. Besides laser procedure, they provide any kind of eye check up for kids and adults. On the 5th floor they have the International Section where all the nurses speak excellent English. Now, three months after the surgery, my eyes are doing great and my vision is perfect. Thank you Beijing Aier Intech Eye Hospital!
