Beijing Mandarin School 北京普通话学校 has very good teachers and small class groups at all levels. It's one of the few school that has dedicated group classes to study HSK 4 and 5 in Beijing and it has a Upper-Intermediate class studying the Spoken-Chinese books. So I do both: 3 days a week I do HSK preparation with a 4 students at their school location in Guangming hotel (near Liangmaqiao) and 2 times a week I go to GuangHua branch (near Guomao) to study Spoken Chinese. The combination of classes is great for me, it helped me a lot improving in different areas - written, grammar and spoken Chinese. I highly recommend the school and my teachers (Wang laoshi - Wendy, my HSK teacher, and Christina laoshi, my Spoken Chinese teacher. They also have a very simple paying option - 60rmb per class, 60 hrs(total 3600rmb) (as of Nov 2017)and if you miss more than 2 weeks in a row, they save the classes for later, so you don't loose the money and you can catch up at your convenience with your group cla
