March 4: Swinging Beethoven by Quintessence Saxophone Quintet at Suzhou Polygrand Theatre

Swinging Beethoven
Originally from Germany, this five-man contemporary jazz ensemble specializing in saxophone will bring their signature performances of classical and Baroque music from composers like Bach, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Mozart and Handel.

March 4: Hack Hanzi at Locke Pub

Hack Hanzi
Want to learn Chinese? Suzhou-based instructor Lydia Nordlien will be holding 'Hack Hanzi' workshops and crashcourses throughout the month of March to help you get started and prepare for the HSK. Participate in both the crashcourse and workshop for the complete version, or just take part in the crashcourse to learn what Hanzi is about and how easy it can be. Both classes have plenty of interaction, exercises and other activities, and entry fee includes drinks. Note that workshop attendees are required to have previously attended the crashcourse.
