Jinji Lake Concert Hall Description

The oval-shaped venue is the result of extensive renovation of an exhibition area within Suzhou Culture and Arts Center. It was designed by Toyota Yasuhisa, one of the world’s most reputable acoustic designers, and is tailor-made as the base for Suzhou Symphony Orchestra. Yasuhisa has done a good job in blending acoustic effects with the hall's appearance by introducing metal netting partitions and walls shaped like folding fans.
