Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra is collaborating with a group of young musicians from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music (SCM) to present a colorful concert this Saturday. The diversified program includes works by contemporary Chinese composers as well as Western classics and features vocalists, violin and piano soloists and Chinese instrument players.

Fri, May 7: Mambo Trivia Quiz Night
Join Shuiwei’s only live trivia quiz. Five rounds of questions, usually including one film/TV round and one music round, a few pop questions throughout the quiz for individual prizes and one final question where teams can wager points depending on how confident they feel – get it right, you win points, but get it wrong, you lose ‘em! Kick off is at 9pm, with questions actually starting a bit later as stragglers arrive having been stuck in traffic or missed their metro stop. Come on down early to get a good seat and enjoy some food before we begin. Max of six people per team, and no minimum. A one-man-team could take home a RMB300 cash prize, second team wins beers and third place gets shots.
