After several months of deliberation, Belle-Vue Grill of Grand Hyatt Shenzhen has been awarded a one-diamond from The Black Pearl Restaurant Guide 2021. This is the first time that Belle-Vue Grill has received this award. With this honor, the hotel and restaurant will strive to bring more guests the enjoyment of #LivingGrand.

Belle-Vue Grill

For an intimate evening, take in the sparkling skylines with classic European cuisine, such as lobster bisque, grilled seafood and prime steaks, at Belle-Vue Grill on the 37th floor, and indulge in the romantic and elegant ambience. At Belle-Vue Grill, all tables are tended to by designated cooking stations, at which, many of the dishes are prepared à la minute by well-trained chefs − right in front of the guests to ensure quality and for a touch of drama.

Chef Martin, the Director of Culinary Operations at Grand Hyatt Shenzhen, has more than 30 years of culinary experience. With his own understanding of the food and beverage philosophy of Hyatt, “Thoughtfully sourced, carefully served,” Chef Martin and the Belle-Vue Grill culinary team are dedicated to presenting guests with authentic, classic cuisines, adhering to the spirit of culinary mastery and constantly striving for excellence.

The Black Pearl Chef Week Set Menu is available from March 27 to April 10. Enjoy the pan-fried foie gras and yellow fin tuna ribbons as appetizers, the grilled Rangers Valley Australian beef sirloin as a main course, alongside raspberry tart and coffee chocolate ice cream bonbon for desserts. Moreover, there is also a “Chef Mystery Dish” that will only be revealed when guests arrive at the restaurant.

The Black Pearl Restaurant Guide

The Black Pearl Restaurant Guide is regarded as the “Chinese characteristic gourmet chart” that best represents the unique taste and food culture of Chinese people. It offers a list of excellent restaurants, selected and released jointly by a council consisting of masters of cooking, renowned gastronomes, food researchers and food culture enthusiasts. With the joint effort of the council, judging panel and special advisors of the guide, the list will be unveiled after fair and impartial anonymous evaluation and scoring. Until now, a total of 22 cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Hong Kong in China and five overseas cities including Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Paris and New York have been covered by The Black Pearl Restaurant Guide.
