The fair is in Donghu Park in Luohu District and features seven exhibition areas covering 30,000 square meters. One of the biggest highlights of this year’s event is that modern members of the Asteraceae (compositae) family such as chamomile, African Daisy and Callistephus chinensis (or China aster) have been introduced in addition to traditional compositae plants such as sunflower and coreopsis.

On the third floor of Coco Park you can sample a variety of Chaoshan dishes such as seafood porridge, fun guo (Chaozhou dumplings, 粉粿), beef offal (牛杂), as well as Hong Kong-style milk tea, Hong Kong-style French toast (西多士), Sichuan-style cold pot skewers (冷锅串串) and durian pancakes.
