Pipette Bistro at InterContinental Shenzhen is ready to open its doors! Chef Louis Jean-Baptiste will take you on a journey of the senses through gourmet food and wine.

A bistro is more than just dining: it is a place made for sharing experiences, fine and fun for any gathering with friends and family.

Pipette offers a new approach to Western dining that merges the classic idea of family-run restaurants along the streets of Paris, with the young and vibrant atmosphere of lounge restaurants in modern cities like Shenzhen. The open kitchen allows guests to enjoy the fresh food, and puts the chefs’ talents on display. Pipette Bistro has a main dining area with multiple sitting options: window tables as well as high and long tables that can accommodate up to 60 guests. Moreover, Pipette offers multiple private dining rooms. In the restaurant’s lower floor, three themed private dining rooms (Napoleon, Latour, Champagne) are the best option for hosting group gatherings, events and family celebrations in a more intimate environment.

Chef Louis is constantly searching for new ways to matching flavors and textures. His passion for food started when he was young, helping his grandmother prepare jovial meals for the whole family. Coming from a small village near Lyon all the way to China, he enriched his dishes with a variety of flavors and premium ingredients. At Pipette Bistro, Chef Louis will present his menu with French and Asian elements as trait-d’-union.

The menu is diverse and definitely rich in options. If you are eager to savor chef’s new dishes, escargot (the French word for snails) are a must. If you like beef, try the dry-aged Tomahawk – crispy on the outside while succulent inside. Pipette also recommends the Diablo Iberico Pork Collar with its tender meat, both taste and texture will jazz up any palate.

Last but not least, from their dessert selection, the Apple Tatin balances crunchy and soft, warm and cool. And as in fengshui, harmony is made up of opposites.
