Shenzhen Shekou Ferry to HKIA Route Resumes

Starting Wednesday, October 28, the one-way ferry route between Shenzhen Shekou and Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) will resume after an eight-month suspension

Please note that ferries from HKIA to Shenzhen Shekou are still suspended, and the resumption of service will be announced later.

The ferry ride is 30 minutes and passengers will be directly shuttled to the customs of HKIA and travelers can then directly go to the boarding gate.

In addition, there are further specifications for ticket holders: 

1. Outbound passengers must confirm that they can enter the destination and meet the various epidemic prevention and control and boarding requirements of the Hong Kong International Airport; if they are unable to board the plane due to force majeure or personal reasons at the Hong Kong International Airport, they will be arranged to return to the mainland and accept the the cost of quarantine at their own expense. Passengers need to sign the corresponding undertaking at the port check-in counter.

2. Before boarding and leaving the country, outbound passengers should provide a valid Yuekang Code and negative nucleic acid test result within 72 hours or a paper report of nucleic acid test negative result issued by a qualified medical institution.

3. Passengers must complete boarding procedures for all segments of the itinerary from Hong Kong to the destination country at the home port of Shekou cruise ship before boarding.

4. Passengers need to complete the ticket purchase 24 hours before the sailing, and the sailing time is no less than 150 minutes before the departure time of the plane.

If your flight is not direct, you will not be able to check in at Shekou Cruise Port for certain airlines. Please see more info here
