Regulars of the Shenzhen bar scene will definitely be glad to know – Mack Ross is back! Previously of ATTIC at the Park Hyatt Shenzhen and The Nest Shanghai, the Canadian bartender and graffiti artist will be shaking up cocktails until September 5 at Alcove. His cocktails are a playful take on classics, so be prepared to be delightfully surprised by the unusual ingredients featured in his creations.

Organized by the NSIC, this seminar will feature a staff member from the Shenzhen Tax Service who will speak about individual income tax policies for the Greater Bay Area. Learn while you can, as they probably didn’t teach you this in school.

Starting Sep 5 : Trash New Order
Starting Septmeber 5, this public art exhibition is divided into four parts: collection, arrangement, creation and display. The exhibits are created by the curatorial team, artists, park communities, and volunteers. What this exhibition presents not only the creative results from artists themselves, but also the collaborative effort from different groups involved. After the exhibition is over, the pieces will be returned to the artist’s studio for permanent collection, sent for recycling, or reused in other exhibitions.

Until Oct 25: 7th China Illustration Biennial
First held in 2007, the China Illustration Biennial (CIB) has become an authoritative and professional competition of art illustration in the industry. In addition to the series of events which will be held at the main venue of OCT OH Bay, CIB along with 10 publishing houses will exhibit for the first time the winning works of recipients of the CIB original picture books award.
