Tue, Dec 10: Kung Fu Kids Class
TangTang Kung Fu International Club is holding classes for kids aged 4-6 years old. This class is great for beginners as classes are only once a week for 60 minutes, 5-6pm every Tuesday. A package of 24 classes are available for RMB2,880, which also comes with complimentary kung fu gear. Scan QR code on the poster above for more info.

Fri, Dec 13: Tavey Lean and the Solid Gold Dream Machine

An international act comprised of musicians from Beijing, Canada, the US and Australia, get ready to groove to the sounds of funk, soul and R&B. Lead vocalist Tavey began his musical career as a classically trained pianist and cellist. After abandoning the structured and regimented world of classical music, he taught himself guitar and began performing in rock and reggae bands. He eventually founded what would become Solid Gold with bassist Sam Silverman, reconnecting with those golden oldies radio stations he sang along to in the back of his folks’ car as a kid.

Sat, Dec 14: MKW Bash at the Bay II

Middle Kingdom Wrestling returns to Shenzhen on December 14 for MKW Bash at the Bay II! Featuring some of the best Chinese and international pro wrestlers, including Michael Su, Zombie Dragon, Zeda Zhang, Ray Lyn and Nuwakote Tiger (all members of an elite group known as ‘The Stable’), this bash of bodies is guaranteed to be a memorable evening! Eight jam-packed matches will be featured on the card, including singles men’s and women’s, tag team and multi-man matches. The event will be headlined by a match between MKW world champion Michael Su who will be defending against the unpredictable and undefeated challenger Zombie Dragon! Sat, Dec 14: Caspian China Tour 2019

New Noise is proud to end this year with an eight-date China tour for American post rock band Caspian, who will be presenting work from their upcoming album. Through passionate songwriting, the band carves through the darkness and allows all to be bathed in light. Even when the band is at their heaviest, there are still feelings of peace and catharsis that hang in the air. Caspian transcend post rock norms to create some unique music that is emotive, well-written and utterly enthralling.

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Shen Wai International School (SWIS) is hosting their annual Winter Celebration this Saturday. From 11am-3pm, the event welcomes everyone from the SWIS community and the general public. Enjoy festive performances by SWIS students, photos with Santa Claus, raffle prizes, delicious international cuisine and a wide selection of unique market vendors. Clayderman’s distinctive style has earned him superstar status all over the world. He has recorded over 1,300 melodies and clocked up a massive worldwide sales record of approximately 150 million as of 2006 (this number is presumably higher now). Come out to hear this distinguished ‘prince of piano’ while he’s in town.
