Grab your Ugg boots and call Becky, because the drink of basics has officially landed in the Middle Kingdom!

In a WeChat post published this morning, Starbucks China announced that the famed Pumpkin Spice Latte (otherwise known as the ‘PSL’) has “just flown in from Seattle” to start its China trip.

For those of you uninitiated to the PSL, the beverage is blended with pumpkin seasoning, clove, cinnamon and nutmeg. It’s like fall in a cup.

The drink has become so popular in the US that it’s spawned a whole spin-off industry of pumpkin-flavored snacks and scented items – think pumpkin spice M&Ms, Oreoscereals, bagels and candles. (The craze has incited backlash too, having prompted countless thinkpieces and listicles debating whether Big Pumpkin Spice has gone too far).

Starbucks teased the China debut on its official Weibo account last week, posting: “PSL is coming.”

The drink can be ordered in stores across China, or via the Starbucks app.
