If you missed out on Valentine’s Day festivities in February, fear not: Qixi, aka Chinese Valentine’s Day, is tomorrow! Hopefully you won’t be too busy at work to spend a special evening with your precious baobao

Below are some great dinner deals and events happening around the city, so why not go treat yourself – even if you’re ridin’ solo. 


The Terrace Restaurant & Bar

Culture Salad is a weekly event at Terrace where you can learn language skills, enlarge your social network and show off your talents and culture! This week’s theme will be Chinese Valentine’s Day, so come find your match. Guests will sign in at 8pm, mingle and take some time to introduce themselves. There will be a talent show, Q&A, games and the night will be capped off with live music. For successfully matched couples, there will be a prize in store! Terrace will also be offering Moët & Chandon Brut Rosé for RMB1,314 as well as roses and chocolates to all couples.

Enjoy a special Valentine’s dinner by candlelight and listen to the soft rhythm of love songs while sipping a glass of red wine. For starters choose from tomato soup or grilled octopus. The main is a choice between salmon asparagus fettuccine and grilled veal tenderloin. This romantic dinner will finish with berry panna cotta for dessertThe first 30 ladies to make a reservation will also receive a surprise gift! Availability is limited so reserve your table early to avoid disappointment.

Let the heat of the grill – and the night – turn this Chinese Valentine’s Day into an evening you will never forget! Latina offers an all-you-can-eat, deluxe Brazilian barbecue buffet plus free flow booze. Expect a carving station with barbecue pork ribs, beef ribs and salmon. Of course, there will be special Brazilian dishes and desserts as well. The first 30 ladies to place a reservation will also get a surprise gift!
