Wanna find out just how much knowledge you have crammed in your head? Then join this fun trivia night on Tuesday at Xpats, hosted by trivia masters Gary and Kevin. Questions of the night will cover topics such as music, movies and general knowledge, with prizes including, but not limited to, RMB500 in vouchers for Xpats Bar & Grill.

Fancy some Vincent van Gogh masterpieces? If so, you won’t want to miss the grand opening of China Resource Tower Art Center’s ‘A Light Chaser’ Marvelous Exhibition of Vincent van Gogh, which is running from May 28 until the end of September. Check out 21 unique works from some of the best museums in the world. This exhibition is a real treat for artistic techies, with moving art concepts adding life to some of the artist’s most iconic works.

Tue-Sun Until May 31: Retrospective Exhibition of Teng Wenjin’s Works

Nearly 400 sculptures and paintings have been compiled at Guofeng Art for the Retrospective Exhibition of Teng Wenjin’s Works, which is on display throughout the month of May. Teng Wenjin, a remarkable Chinese sculptor who is known as one of the creator’s of the iconic Deng Xiaoping statue on top of Shenzhen’s Lianhua hill, reveals some of his greatest works at this exhibition, showcasing bronze, wood and ceramic sculptures as well as vibrant nature paintings.

Fri, May 31: Women in Business Forum 2019
Following on from last year’s successful event, the British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong will hold its 2019 Women in Business (WIB) Forum in Shenzhen on May 31. This gathering provides a platform for women to exchange ideas and inspire each other, with guest speakers also slated for the event. The Women in Business Forum has been held for seven consecutive years in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and welcomed over 200 guests each year.

Fri, May 31: The FXXK – A Groovy Culinary Experience
Gear up for a glorious night of dining, boozing and dancing at Blue Italian Seafood & Grill Restaurant. This Saturday, the restaurant will present their ‘What the Fxxk’ event, a groovy culinary experience for all the senses. Music will be performed by DJ Flamingoes and Levi Terrel to keep guests movin’ and groovin’, while the cigar room will entertain those looking to enjoy some nicely rolled tobacco.

Stand up comedian Joe Wong is coming to Shenzhen! After graduating with a PhD in biochemistry, Wong’s career took a wild turn when he began performing at the All Asia Bar at Stash’s Comedy Jam. See the comedian take the stage at Mr. Wong, the top-floor bar at Hilton Hotel in Futian.
