Their mission statement is to show the other side of Japanese cuteness and culture, while their music reflects an affection for early noughties punk bands like Le Tigre. Catch their synchronized dancing and offbeat covers at B10 this month.

Life on Mars is hosting guest bartender Hannah Keirl for an evening of exotic Australian gin cocktails. Keirl is currently based in Shanghai and has over 10 years of experience working in cocktail bars. Featuring both classic and contemporary concoctions, cocktails made during the event will transport attendees all the way from London to Perth and back again.

Q-Dance is one of the premiere hardstyle event organizers in the world, famous for their wildly popular Qlimax in The Netherlands each year. This time they have teamed up with SHOCK to bring another amazing event, The Sound of Q-Dance, to Shenzhen on January 12.

Born in 1962 in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, Liu Jianhua graduated from Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1987 and now teaches at Academy of Art at Harbin University of Science and Technology. Liu frequently uses traditional Chinese elements, such as chubby ladies and auspicious clouds in his artwork, depicting the joyfulness of Chinese festivals and the concept of harmony.
