Cooler temperatures are expected to grace the Greater Bay Area over the next week, with lows in Guangzhou dipping to 15 degrees Celsius at the beginning of next week, according to current forecasts. Shenzhen residents will also see a drop in temperature, with a low of 21 degrees next Tuesday, October 30, according to AccuWeather.
Drizzly, rainy weather is predicted for Guangzhou this Friday afternoon, although the weekend looks set to be sunny and clear – albeit with temperatures dropping to a cool 17 degrees Celsius at night.
Rainy weather is also forecast for Shenzhen on Friday afternoon and evening, although the weekend low for the city is only expected to be 21 degrees Celsius. Despite being warmer than Guangzhou this weekend, Shenzhen residents can expect wind, with wind speeds ranging from 15 to 24 kilometers per hour on Saturday and Sunday.
While you may find you need heavier clothing in the evenings, it’s worth noting that daytime temperatures are still projected to be upwards of 26 degrees Celsius in both Guangzhou and Shenzhen this weekend.
