With a blend of minimally phrased piano and dynamic drumming, these world-class musicians out of Japan pursue a creative live experience of visual and audio expression. Formed in 2006 with elements of jazz, funk, post-rock and electronic music, Mouse on the Keys fits into a genre all their own.

On this China tour the band will be backed up by amazing visuals and give us a mad and explosive live performance!

What do you think would happen if everyone, all around the world, started to pick up litter on the streets, on the beaches, or even dive into the ocean to retrieve it? Well, that's exactly what's planned for September 15 and 16 all around the globe. If you would like to learn more about or be a part of this global cleanup action, join the Shenzhen Green Drinks' presentation on August 30 from 7.30-9pm at Extra Time Cafe in Sea World. At home, her event series ‘Jerk’ is still hitting capacity and her work has been publicized in Flare, Wonderland, Crack and Fader

This summer, Bambii is adding Asia to her growing list of tour destinations to promote her debut, solo EP. Catch her this week at Shenzhen's Oil Club.

Sat, Sept 1: Minor Science at Oil Club

Minor Science has come a long way in his career, transforming from a leftfield house explorer into an engineer of hybrid, hi-tech music which doesn’t quite sound like anything else out there. His debut, 2014’s Noble Gas EP for connoisseur label The Trilogy Tapes, showed promise: its lead track, ‘Hapless,’ was played extensively by DJs like Ben UFO, and was described by Wire as “a pleasing clip round the ear.” The British producer has since become a key figure on Nic Tasker’s fast-rising Whities label, reflecting the label’s preference for unique artists with a bold sonic direction.

Three records for the label have seen Minor Science move both forwards — his music has become crisper, richer and more distinctive — and backwards, drawing on his formative experiences as a clubber in London’s dubstep scene and a longterm fascination with the UK’s dance heritage.
